History
Questa is derived from the Spanish word for “ridge” or “slope.” Located near an old Native American trade route, artifacts and petroglyphs in the area speak of lives long past. Since Questa was an area rife with Indian revolts and attacks, sentinels would take posts atop Ute Mountain and warn the community when an attack was imminent. Our property is closely connected to the past and arrowheads and other ancient artifacts can still be found on the property.
